Celebrate Life's Dance

Celebrant Alison Moore is an accomplished facilitator and a natural storyteller. She is a professional Life-Cycle Celebrant practiced in the creation of personalized ceremonies that share your story with family and friends. She performs weddings, celebrations of life and other ceremonies at your venue of choice or at her Peachland-based Ravens View Farm and Centre. She works with clients of all ages, races, and beliefs to skillfully choreograph life’s ceremonies.

Trained through the Celebrant Foundation & Institute (CF&I), ordained as a minister through the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry (CIMM), member of Interior British Columbia Quakers and longtime meditator in the Buddhist tradition, she has all the skills, training and experience to skillfully craft a secular, non-denominational, open and affirming ceremony expressly for and with you.

Alison has been a leader of non-profit organizations where her energy and enthusiasm have been the basis for successful programs and projects of all types. These include: Ballet Kelowna, The National Museum of Dance, Boulder County Arts Alliance, and Collage Children’s Museum. She is now a partner in Oomph! Consulting.

Alison moved to Peachland, BC in 2007 with her husband Mark to cultivate her life dream of owning an organic farm Ravens View Farm. She is an Airbnb Super Host to many visitors who stay in The Cottage. She performs seasonal ceremonies in the Lavender Labyrinth on the solstices and equinoxes for those who wish to celebrate the passing of the seasons. She is an avid orchardist providing organic peaches and plums to many master chefs in the Okanagan Valley and visitors to the Peachland Farmers’ Market and the farm.

Alison is dedicated to the celebration of life’s dances. She invites you to partner with her to design these special events in your life. Together you will make your ceremony the richest, most beautiful dance of all.
