Alison moved to Peachland, BC in 2007 with her husband Mark to cultivate her life dream of owning an organic farm. She is an Airbnb Super Host to many guests who stay in The Cottage. She performs seasonal ceremonies in the Lavender Labyrinth for those who wish to celebrate the passing of the seasons. She is an avid orchardist providing tree ripened peaches and plums to master chefs in the Okanagan Valley and visitors to the Peachland Farmers’ Market.Type your paragraph here.
Celebrant Alison Moore is an accomplished facilitator and a natural storyteller dedicated to the celebration of life’s dances. As a professional Life-Cycle Celebrant she is practiced in the creation of personal ceremonies performing weddings, celebrations of life and other ceremonies at your venue of choice or Ravens View Farm and Centre. She works with clients of all ages, ethnicities, and beliefs to skillfully choreograph their ceremonies.
Trained through the Celebrant Foundation & Institute (CF&I), as an End of Life Doula through Concious Dying Institute (CDI), ordained as a minister through the Canadian International Metaphysical Ministry (CIMM), member of Interior British Columbia Quakers and longtime meditator in the Buddhist tradition, she has all the skills, training and experience to skillfully craft an open, affirming, secular, ceremony or assist clients navigate end of life journeys.
Alison has been a leader of non-profit organizations where her energy and enthusiasm have resulted in successful programs and projects of all types. These include: Ballet Kelowna, The National Museum of Dance, Boulder County Arts Alliance, and Collage Children’s Museum. She is now a partner in Oomph! Consulting. She is also a coordinator of the Okanagan Valley Death Cafes.
